Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at the New Delhi International airport. Our representative will assist you in getting transferred to your pre booked hotel. Check in, and relax for the day. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 2: Delhi

After breakfast, get ready for the city tour of New Delhi as well as Old Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar raised by Qutub- u- din in 1199 either as a victory tower or as a minaret to the adjacent mosque; Lotus Temple completed in 1986, the Bahai temple set amidst pools and gardens, and adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate silently according to their own religion; India Gate built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931; the mughals brought with them a love for gardens, fountains and water, the first mature example of Mughal architecture in India, Humayun's Tomb was built by the emperor's grieving widow, Haji Begum, in 1565 AD; Jama Masjid one of the Architectural gift given by Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques not only in Delhi but in India. Completed in 1658 this Mosque has three gateways, four angle towers and two 40 m high minarets. And in the evening enjoy the sound and light show at Red Fort was made in 1639, when Shah Jahan decided to shift his capital from Agra to Delhi. Built in Red Sand stone this imposing fort is 3 kms in perimeter with the height of the wall varying from 18 to 30 meters at places. Return back to the hotel and stay overnight.


Day 3: Delhi - Agra (205 kms - 4 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and get driven to Agra along one of the India's finest freeways. Along the way, chat to your private driver and gaze out over India's passing landscapes and villages. Reach Agra and check in the hotel.
Thereafter, we ride to the massive Agra Fort and visit Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan.
In the evening we leave to see the magnificent piece of architecture the Taj Mahal, perhaps the most photographed monument in the world. Return hotel and stay overnight.



Day 4: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Ranthambore (265 kms/5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and get driven Ranthambore . En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, also known as the "Ghost City". Its gate, Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world is the main attraction of the town. Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory. Reach Ranthambore and relax in your pre-booked resort. Overnight in the resort.



Day 5:Ranthambore

Today you will take game drives in the morning and in late afternoon, as this is when animals are most active. Even if the tigers are too stealthy to see, the park is filled with other animals like gazelle, hyenas, sloth bears, crocodiles, jackals, three types of antelope (nilgai, sambar and chital) and leopards to watch out for. You'll break for lunch and a relaxing afternoon back at the hotel, and then drive out to explore a different sector of the park; this will hopefully increase the chance of tiger sightings. Come back and stay overnight at the resort.



Day 6: Jaipur - Ranthambore (145 kms/3-4 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and have the chance to explore the 1,000 year old Ranthambore Fort, where two pavilions that have survived the ravages of war and time - Badal Mahal and Hammirs Court - give an idea of its old grandeur. Thereafter, leave for Jaipur founded in 1727 and constructed on principles of geometric harmony, making it one of the only planned cities in the world. Colorful bazaars and impressive forts and palaces give the Pink City an allure and a spirit different from any other locale in India. Upon arrival, check in the hotel and relax.



Day 7: Jaipur

After breakfast, get ready to explore the beautiful architecture of Amer Fort, Jal Mahal on the way to Amer, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, and Hawa Mahal built in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, is the most recognizable monument of Jaipur.
We take break for lunch and continue with the tour followed by City Palace a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, Jantar Mantar built in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the huge masonary instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky and the Birla Temple. Return and stay overnight at the hotel



Day 8: Jaipur – Delhi (265 kms/5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and get transferred to New Delhi. Reach Delhi and our driver will assist you in getting transferred to the hotel. Check in and relax in the hotel. Evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.



Day 9: Delhi - Fly back home

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and get driven to the Delhi airport for boarding flight to your onward destination. Services from Travelofi end here.
