Day 1: Arrival Delhi

Arrive at the New Delhi International airport. Our representative will assist you in getting transferred to your pre booked hotel. Check in, and relax for the day. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 2: Delhi

Today we start the day early to explore the Old Delhi on a bike with breakfast at Karim’s. Our driver will receive you early from the hotel and transfer to meet the guide and hop on the orange bicycles to experience Old Delhi, intense and full of history. The tour begins at 6:30 AM and ends at 10:00 AM.
Today, when you pass through its four hundred year old web of alleys held together with great big meshes of electric cables and infused with the smell of brewing tea and simmering breakfast curry, you see a mind boggling co-existence of the past and the future, competing for your attention.
Emerging from this rainforest, thick with traditional architecture- typical of Shah Jahan’s time, you will find yourself in a Delhi of another time while you also see the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, the Spice Market and tranquil Civil Lines, the former British colonial area as a sharp contrast to hectic Old Delhi.
After the tour meet the driver and get transferred to the hotel. Relax and get fresh.
Meet the driver at mid-day and proceed for the guided city tour of New Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar raised by Qutub- u- din in 1199 either as a victory tower or as a minaret to the adjacent mosque; Lotus Temple (Closed on Monday) completed in 1986, the Bahai temple set amidst pools and gardens, and adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate silently according to their own religion; India Gate built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931; drive past Parliament House, and Humayun's Tomb built by the emperor's grieving widow, Haji Begum, in 1565 AD. Return back to the hotel and stay overnight.


Day 3: Delhi

Today we will go for approx. 2 hours guided city walk tour organized by Salaam Balak Trust. The Today we will go for Slum Tour and meet the guide at Connaught Place in the morning, and set out by metro for Sanjay Colony, a small slum built on 17 acres (6 hectares) of land. After an almost 1.5-hour ride, walk with your guide and small group to the nearby slum and commence your 1.5-hour tour on foot. Follow a maze of narrow streets as you’re introduced to enterprising residents and their small-scale industries. Stop by a clothes recycling-and-manufacturing business to observe how materials are painstakingly separated, and learn about the clothing factories where many families work to make the finished items. Leave your cameras at home — photos are prohibited on this tour — and give your full attention to the people and buildings that surround you. Visit a small Hindu temple and hear about the importance of religion in the residents’ lives. Gain a further understanding of daily life in the slum on a visit to a local home, where you can engage in an informative conversation with a family. Enjoy a stunning rooftop view of Sanjay Colony before ending your tour at a small school, where you can see evidence of the positive contribution that proceeds from the tour make in the community. The tour concludes at Okhla Metro station, where the driver will meet you and transfer back to the hotel. Relax and in the evening visit Purana Quila to attend the sound and light show. Return back to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.


Day 4:Delhi – Jaipur (265 kms/5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and get driven to Jaipur, the Pink City, founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the ruler of Amber. Upon arrival, check in the hotel and stay overnight.


Day 5:Jaipur

After breakfast, get ready to explore the beautiful architecture of Amer Fort, Jal Mahal on the way to Amer, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, and Hawa Mahal built in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, is the most recognizable monument of Jaipur.
We take break for lunch and continue with the tour followed by City Palace a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, Jantar Mantar built in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the huge masonary instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky and the Birla Temple. Return and stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 6: Jaipur

Our driver will pick you from the hotel and the morning is spent at Jaigarh Fort located on a mountain which is literally named as “Hill of Eagles”.  This architectural marvel provides great view of the Jaipur city. The biggest attraction here is the Jaivana cannon. It is the world’s biggest wheeled cannon ever made. The cannon was manufactured indigenously at the fort.
Next, you can visit Nahargarh fort. This fort offers a better view of the Jaipur city. In the evening, this fort looks beautiful with a splendid backdrop. Check in the pre-booked hotel and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7:Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (265 kms/5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and get driven to Agra. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, also known as the “Ghost City”. Its gate, Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world is the main attraction of the town. Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory.
Reach Agra, check in the hotel, and in the evening we will take you to a little known prime viewing spot of the Taj Mahal during sunset exists opposite the monument on the northern shores of the Yamuna River, it is Mehtab Bagh - a centuries old garden complex, open to the public. Overnight in Agra.


Day 8: Agra- Delhi (205 kms/4 hrs)

Early morning we leave to see the magnificent piece of architecture the Taj Mahal, perhaps the most photographed monument in the world. A dawn visit to the fabled Taj Mahal to witness the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this brilliant white marble building. Later we return back to our hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, check out and we ride to the massive Agra Fort and visit Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan.
Thereafter, get transferred to New Delhi airport for boarding flight to your onward destination. Services from Travelofi end here.
